Media and Recording Consent

Purpose
This consent explains how Total Technical Solutions (TTS) Training Academy may request permission to use a student’s image, voice, likeness, testimonial, or other media for promotional, marketing, educational, or informational purposes.
Voluntary Consent
Permission for promotional or marketing use of a student’s image, voice, likeness, or testimonial is voluntary.
Declining promotional media consent will not affect a student’s ability to enroll in a course, participate in training, complete course requirements, or receive an eligible Certificate of Completion.
Instructional Recordings
TTS Training Academy may separately record live instructional sessions for educational, replay, quality-assurance, or Academy administration purposes.
Instructional recordings are governed by the TTS Training Academy Recording and Replay Policy and are separate from promotional media consent.
Promotional Media Authorization
When a student voluntarily provides media consent, the student authorizes TTS Training Academy to use approved photographs, video, audio, testimonials, statements, or other authorized content for purposes that may include:
- TTS Training Academy websites
- Social media
- Digital advertising
- Printed promotional materials
- Course information
- Academy presentations
- Educational materials
- Marketing communications
- Other legitimate TTS Training Academy promotional activities
Student Testimonials
TTS Training Academy will not require a positive testimonial as a condition of enrollment, course completion, or certificate eligibility.
When a student voluntarily provides a testimonial for promotional use, the Academy may make reasonable formatting or length adjustments provided the meaning of the student’s statement is not materially changed.
No Compensation
Unless a separate written agreement states otherwise, students should not expect payment, royalties, or other compensation for voluntarily authorized promotional use of their image, voice, likeness, testimonial, or approved media.
Privacy and Sensitive Information
Students should not provide confidential, financial, medical, account, identification, or other sensitive personal information for promotional use.
TTS Training Academy will make reasonable efforts to avoid intentionally publishing sensitive student information as promotional content.
Withdrawal of Promotional Consent
A student may contact TTS Training Academy to withdraw promotional media consent for future use.
Withdrawal will apply prospectively after the Academy receives and reasonably processes the request.
TTS Training Academy may not be able to immediately retrieve or remove materials that were previously printed, distributed, published, archived, shared by third parties, or incorporated into completed media before the withdrawal request.
No Transfer of Course Materials
Media consent does not give students permission to reproduce, distribute, record, publish, or share TTS Training Academy course materials.
Academy course materials and instructional recordings remain subject to applicable Academy policies.
Separate Authorization When Appropriate
TTS Training Academy may request a separate written, electronic, or recorded authorization for a particular testimonial, photograph, video, interview, promotional campaign, or other media use.
Consent Acknowledgement
By affirmatively providing media consent, the student acknowledges that they have reviewed this Media and Recording Consent and voluntarily authorize the approved uses described in the applicable consent request.
